I feel bad for Daniel, not for the money he lost but how bad he felt realizing that he had made a bad call.

Albeit this is a slight loss of composure on daniel's side you've got to consider his situation . Not only are the odds of lindgren beating daniel's straight low but the odds of him flopping the nuts twice in the same game and being beaten by a better hand are even lower . What are the chances you get trips and a straight beaten by 2 sets of quads in the same game ?

ppl like u make me laugh.. eric could easily have been bluffing, it's easy to make ur call when we can see both hands.

That could have worked, he could of taken the pot right there and then, which is a damm good idea because although he has the nuts there are ALOT of turn and river cards that can kill his hand, IE. QUADS as we saw, set improving to full house, and also the possibility of a higher straight. Daniel is a world champion poker player and there was obviously a reason for this play, its just really unfortunate when you have the nuts but your opponent improves on the turn and river.

Lol. Daniel Negranu is an expert poker player. It's easy for you to make the correct call because you can SEE what he's opponent is holding. He was confused by his bets on the flop and turn and had no idea where he was at, so he figured the odds against him bluffing were better than his odds of holding a better hand so he called. I think he sensed he was beat, as he was making the call he even said, FULL HOUSE is good. |
