Look, All sci-fi Universes are incompatible. I know a game, Freespace 2 Open, and its universe has much better technology. Not one of the fighters had sheild systems or lock-on missles, and they definately didn't have EMP. Also, the capital ships in FS2 Open are bristling with weaponry: Beam Cannons, Flak turrets, lazer turrets, railguns, and Missle Launchers. The Death Star is the only match for one of those destroyers, But the star destroyers would be owned. Download FS2 Open, Its free!

Star Wars is for kids? I don't know for sure, but I don't think, many kids could stand the tragic ending of Episode III ... and I remember being totally confused as a kid about the plot of Episode II. Really, The Phantom Menace was the only kids movie.
