We aren't known to be good in friendlies. England always seem to play better against the 'bigger' 'better' teams and play badly against the crap teams. We have always had good results or at least played well against the bigger teams and if we loose it's usually due to bad luck.

i'd say its because we beat just about everyone in a war, at sometime or other. not our fault, we were just really good at fighting, back when it was in fashion. ask the french! we pawned them so much its not even funny. nah, actually. people dislike england 'cos we make them feel inadequate, even during the times our football team can't string two passes together. we're arrogant bastards and so we should be. we're english! we invented football, for fucks sake! we're just that god damn special.

what about english young talent? your a mug if you think we don't have any - more and more are coming through at united, chelsea, even arsenal. the last time our u19 teams played, we beat you! our u21s are unbeaten in 28 games! theo walcott is only 19, remember. rooney is only 23. agbonlahor and ashley young are getting better all the time. these will all play at wembley, i predict - and can tear croatia a new arsehole! so get some facts straight before you get cocky, mate.

Well, it wasn't an A team either, I do not think the same people would have played in a more important game. However, Germany is not known for beeing good in friendly games, but rather in EC/WC :p

We had 8 first team players missing you had 3 first team players missing. so I wouldn't call yours a B team. Yeah I am glad that keeper fucked up, he is shit, hopefully Capello won't bother with him at all now. Thank god.

yeah, you beat the B team in a friendly match. As this B team played quite bad, I would not give to much importance to this game... Best scene still was the one with the english keeper xD
