You find that out during the CP9 saga, around episodes 250ish.
The father of the leader of those people you called "specialized marines" had something big to do with Robins past which i found the saddest story.
Its a good saga and opens up many of the characters pasts, however i can't say much since your still on the skypiea saga ;)

What happened to Robin and why was she with those specialized marines(one of them was Rob); and I just started the show. Right now I'm on episode 193 where Luffy defeats Enel.
