Try it again, then. Your single trial with an incorrect result on his part isn't great evidence to suggest that his sequence is wrong. Unless you consistently are able to "catch him out," we can only assume that you made the error.

'determined' not possible, he's estimating mathematically based on game theory and complex algorithms. I followed his directions and he guessed wrong on last step

If he didn't predict you correctly you did something wrong. He used a mathematical sequence to force you into different spaces. Where you would land is determined before you even start.
