the singing comes from a sample cd used by different artist like Enigma.
the samples are from Heart of Asia (spectrasonics)

I love this song. Although I know this song from the movie the craft, I've heard the first singing part in the game Diablo 2, act 2 in the harem. I used to run the game and go down there just to hear that haunting yet beautiful singing.
