Wow, I thought that all of the violence at Soccer in Australia was caused by the ethnic clubs, wasnt that the argument for kicking out Marconi, Olympic, Sydney United and Melbourne Knights? Gosh, could this be any more ridiclous? All you need do is look up "football hooliganism" on wikipedia to realise that Australia will never have a situation like Europe. They of course neglected to mention here the way Sydney fans acted on the night (eg- throwing flares, rocks, and coins at unsuspecting MVFC fans on their march) and the disgustingly poor way which the police dealt with fans on the night. Melbourne were prejudged before anyone even got into Sydney. Administration was a joke.
