the only reason this disastrous war called 'world war one' is because 'winners' put too much on Germany's shoulders... of course the great depression would have been a factor too but it the treaty of versailes went right there was a chance a psycho called Adolf Hitler wouldn't success or that is my P.O.V...

what was strange about this war was the fact that the soldiers didn't actually hate eachother, when the war first began the German and French troops would often have lunch togethor, they would walk freely and mingle with eachother, on christmas the German and British troops sang silent knight togethor

both Ottoman empire and Austria-Hungary were large contributors for the Central powers. Germany never fought The Great War on their soil. Once the United States entered the war, the second Reich began to falter.
