haha i meant he grew into this legend, My swing would make hogan quit the game altogether.

Yeah I agree, I tend to get a lil over hyped and i do believe everything I hear about the guy. But I believe he was as close to perfection anyone has ever come, he said that numerous times himself and he was a very humble person. Hogan was not the best early in his career, but I believe I grew into this legend for undeniable reasons.

No one is arguing that Hogan didn't have an attractive or "pure" swing, but calling it perfection is just stupid. I am actually a big fan of Hogan and love watching videos of him, hence why I saw this one. He was quite possibly the greatest ball striker ever in his prime. But all I am saying is that people get completely over hyped about the guy, you don't need to be his "besty" to know a few things about the early days of his career.

And further more, who is to say that there is a perfect golf swing? One thing is fact, Hogan swing was pretty damn pure. You should check out that shells wonderful world of golf dannyj, Hogan disects every fairway, hits every green, putts horribly and shoots 68. That was how Hogan played the game. Done and Done

Goodness gracious man. Did you know that Tiger watches the shells wonderful world of golf between hogan and snead on a consistent basis? he says he learns something new every time. Who are you? were you hogans besty or something? Huh, should i believe what all the most reputable, accomplished, hall of fame players say about hogan, Or you? Sure theres a lot of legends about hogan. But just look at some facts, some stats, Hogan was a real person.

There certainly are a lot of "legends" about Hogan. People have tendency to compare Hogan in his prime with a more general view of other players. Of course at his best Hogan was a brilliant iron player, maybe the best ever. Sure his swing is very attractive, I would disagree with it being called perfection however.
People seem to jump on this Hogan bandwagon and say how he is perfection etc, when I don't think there necessarily all aware of the actualy story. |
