The way watermelons is used as stereotypes is because people claimed african Americans have big mouths-watermelons would fit perfectly in their mouths,someone once said it has then been used as a cartoon stereotype ever since..just the way betty boop states their name as the colorful three,shows affense and discrimanation. back in the days of the slaves people would make african americans feel bad by calling them colored-therefor this is rascist! Period! End of story!
