Kicks the shit outta Elvis' original. And YES covers CAN SO be better than the original. Elvis' song didn't have near the soul and technical skill of the Zz Top one. Elvis wasn't even a good musician he didn't right most of his songs and for the longest time he only knew chords. And for years he couldn't actually read music. Elvis was just a very well marketed pop star who nowadays is seen as overated. ZZ Top are rock gods. Elvis? King? Bullshit
