Everyone needs to just interpret it how they will and not criticize how others interpret it. Listen to the music and enjoy, don't get worked up about whether it has a certain meaning and try to argue that with other people. It's a good song by a good band.

They did start out as a Christian band called 'Blyss,' allegedly. And yeah, I heard this on the radio, said 'what a great love song!' then found it on youtube and said 'wait... is it?' I think it goes for either, which I also think are the best kinds of songs (so long as they're not confusing).

i agree with you, this song can have a christian meaning...it may not to me, but to a christian it easily could...its a love song, whether it be to god or another person. it depends on the individual.

actualy this song does have christian meaning. you and me doesnt. you and me is about what you go through when you like someone but dont know if they return the feelings and how you can look at them and its like theyre the only person in the room and u just wonder if they feel the same way about you. trust me ik the meaning behind almost every lifehouse song bcuz i watch interviews with them and read stuff on their site

this song no does not have meaning to god but there song you and me could be a song for god or a long song there song everything was made for the church so ur only correct on one thing this song has no religion base but the band members are christain and some of there songs relate to got ! u guys just need to enjoy the fucking music and get over ueselfs
