I think StNazareth is right; this piece of work does seem to have a lot to do wih how things are connected to one and other.
For example the butter on the toast or the plug in the socket can not work without eachother and would be incomplete.
This is something that people overlook in todays world, we are all connected on way or another as we are all viewing this video so we are connected by the internet; and if I die you will all have had something to do with me from just being on the internet.

I believe it's about how connected we all are in the world. She lives right next to the stranger, bumps in, and he dies afterwards. Someone who she barely knew yet was a part of his life.
People don't realize they share the same air as the victim in the street.
