and I do see your point, that perhaps she would be told those things by some people as society often prefers a more tanned appearance etc, if you don't want people to 'miss the point' then perhaps you shouldn't try that style of humour since it can get confusing if you're simultaneously trying to funny AND trying to say what some people might say to them AND dislike them (which will skew your comment) anyways, thats enough.. im not very good and being succinct as you can prolly tell

okay well.. i just didn't think it was that funny, perhaps because i've been watching more comedy stuff than usual atm and am spoilt on it.. and i know you may have meant it as a video director and not that she has to do as she's told but i was just saying I disagree with what the imaginary 'he/she' or you said regardless of who said it or whether she should follow it..

Years ago, Sharleen Spiteri and Texas did a cover of Rolling Stone's Gimme Shelter. It was a live version. Does anyone know if it was ever released? I've never found it on any CDs from them, not even a downloadable version.

I wasn't being critical of YOU. my criticism of Texas was in the guise a humorous skit. It is possible to be humourous and critical simultaneously.. here is where you missed the point, ok. you said "nobody should perform a certain way just cus its how they're expected to" I wasn't saying that she should do what she is expected to. It's the Video director saying it. your original reply seemed to indicate that you thought I was saying that she should do as she is told. I was not
