O kata dele é bom...mas tem muitos pekenos defeitos! No 27s ele nao trás as 2 mãos até a linha da cintura..efetua logo o soco! E a kibadachi ficou com os ppés, aparentemente, muito abertos!

Mistake at 0:35, He sets his hand up high for a kick, and moves it low before contact. (Should keep hand in one constant place). Regardless, Luca is intensely fast and powerful. Certainly one of the best shoto kan kata performers.

I know exactly how you feel. His Kata seems way too fast and hence loses accuracy in the techniques. This is most likely because he competes, and in competition Kata is about looking cool and not Bunkai.

I'm not going to critique -Luca Valdesi- for heaven's sake, no matter my opinion on his kata. But... I hope it doesn't sound arrogant when I say I personally don't like his style of kata performance. Perhaps it's because I can't hear his breathing with his moves... This kata just doesn't seem to flow. It's too disjointed. When I'm performing a kata (correctly :-S) I know it's good when I can feel it flowing, like it all just comes together. He goes too fast, making it into a show, not a kata.
