Anyway, this whole discussion has degenerated into a lot of biased and unsubstantiated charges and countercharges that solve nothing. The history of Islam is just as fraught with militaristic expansion as that of Chrtistianity, so what is the point?
We need to resolve our differences, not exacerbate them. The militarists on all sides will never reach a compromise that produces peace for anyone. If WW3 is fought with nuclear weapons, then WW4 will be fought with sticks and stones.

In April of 1941, Iraqi general Rashid Ali overthrew the British administration of Iraq and conspired with the Germans to increase Nazi influence in the Middle East by establishing a supply line through Syria, with the aid of the Vichy French General Dentz. In May of 1941 German aircraft with Syrian markings were discovered on airfields in Syria and Iraq, and the British had to send a military expedition to defeat Ali Rashid, Dentz, and the Mufti of Jerusalem.

Al-Ma'mun was succeeded by Abu Ishak al-Mu'tasim (833-842) who created a new bodyguard of Turkish slaves and mercenaries, who for the next hundred years made and killed caliphs. Ja-far Al-Mutawakil was murdered in 861. The Shi'tes sacked Basra (923), Kufa (925), & Mecca (929). In 946 Baghdad was captured by the Buyid dynasty of Persia, and the caliphs became Buyid puppets.

The American named their weapons- Apache helicopter, Arrowhead Navigation sys., Klowa multiple launch platform, Hawkeye infrared sensors, Tomahawk cruise missles,- after a native American population that their nation had "laid waste". They say anything but "Death".

Bush and Cheney:(1)both men were advised beforehand that their decision to commence the invasion of Iraq would be blatantly illegal under international law;(2)they invaded nonetheless, and now they're cynically attempting to mislead the public again by falsely arguing that "The Iraq War was legal!";(4) they've repeatedly demonstrated their disdain for universal human rights and democratic governance under the rule of law; and

I agree with you when it comes with numbers BUT every thing else I said is accurate. I also write fast with emotions and make mistakes in spelling and Grammar
I'm an Iraqi and we are the victims and we see the things as it is. We live with the events daily. What we go through daily is beyond human imagination.
