Perhaps you did not see the huge objections thrown up by christians to the embryology bill last year, based on their dogmatic view founded in religion. Thankfully secular views prevailed in the vote.

"Church schools you'll find are at the top of the educational success ladder.". And they are doing it by despicable means. They are selecting the best students and discriminating against others. Parents are lying about their faith in order to get their children into such schools. I suggest you look at the debate on faith schools in the british press right now and find out for yourself what they have been up to. You can find it online in the guardian and the bbc websites quite easily.

"I do not condone religious violence ". I'm sure you don't, but you are part of the continuum of supporters of belief in the absurd. Your support for religion empowers those more radical than you and so on.

And you'll find that religion only causes more problems as you've descrided if religion is being abused as a control method, and people rebel against the corruption, meaning "crime", get depressed meaning suicide. And you have no backing for health see you'll find the best hosptials are Christian based. St Bartholemu's is an example, named after the Saint in charge of healing. |
