Thank you, Jane. This is so simple and direct, and seeing you doing it and repeating just made sense to me. It's hard to be simple. Now I'm definitely going to blame myself when my mare pops out her right shoulder going counter-clockwise. I am obviously pulling on my left inside rein and then pushing her to the outside to boot. Poor dear! I hope you do more of these.

Jane,
I have a question. one of my horses is light grey and has developped various tumors over his body over the years. As he had his teeth floated at Fall vet check, the vet discovered two small tumors in his mouth which he says will not interfere with the bit , but I know they will eventually grow ... anyway my question is : what do think about Dr. Cook 's bitless bridle which I feel could be an option down the road ... Thank you Jane in advance for your advise and imput.

Just found you. Thanks! What a wonderful supplement to to great training I'm getting. But as a newbie I can't tell you how hard making my seat still is. I just seem to get stiff and bounce along. Downward is much harder than upward> Thanks for the very helpful videos!!!!!

Hi Jane,
I ride a horse that doesn't really respond to my leg aids. What should I do?
I also love the way you teaching style. Some people use force and I hate that.

Sorry I can't be more specific, but it's hard to say without seeing him in action (the mechanics of his hind legs etc) and knowing his character and personality.
I have actually trained several horses that are higher behind, and they've done wonderful flying changes, piaffe, passage, and pirouettes. So much depends on the individual.
