Yes ,that's true however in this case not because Chrissy was living in England along with the group who were British.She co- wrote the song with Honeyman-Scott and used British terminology when writing the song.Peace to you too..

i completely understand all of that, things can have 2 meanings though, just like a video can mislead some people as to the content of a song! btw this song was changed around alot before this final version; "I'm special" was originally "your special". nevermind, peace.

777system777....No brass in pocket refers to coins or coppers in Northern English I have English ancestry that is what it is referred too.She is a waitress collecting "brass" got bottle means got some courage.British vernacular is different from American and Canadian slang.The song has nothing to do with violence.
